IGD Feeding Britain's Future - Consists of two main programmes. The Schools Programme provides classroom visits and student workshops to offer an insight into the varied roles of food and grocery industry professionals. The Skills for Work Month is aimed at young unemployed people and equips them with practical skills to help them in securing employment.
FDF Scotland - Food and Drink Federation Scotland's 'A Future in Food' programme creates partnerships between schools and the food and drink industry. Ambassadors of the Future in Food programme are able to help at career events, host site visits or run classroom workshops. The programme aims to help teachers, pupils and parents better understand the food and drink industry in Scotland.
Bright Crop - have put together a handy teachers guide detailing entry paths, case studies and an overview of the food and farming industry to offer advice to students considering a career in agriculture.
Inspiring The Future - volunteers from all jobs and all levels are available to be invited to conduct one hour career insight talks, help with CVs or mock interviews with students at state schools and colleges.
